For a long long time now, I've had this thing where I'd bookmark pretty sites. I can't help it. I have folders and folders of bookmarks of sites, most of which I never get back to. I figured I'd keep track of some of the better ones that I'd like to keep in mind.

I saw this today on The Big Picture. This is a photo from the Earth from Above exhibit from Yann Arthus-Bertrand, which is coming to NYC next summer. As the name suggests, he takes aerial photos of various landscapes and sites around the world and the results are stunning.

Building on Bond - Boerum Hill
I think this Posterous is quickly becoming Pretty Things in general, not only on the web. Anyway, yesterday, I dropped by Building on Bond [brownstoner link], a new venture by Hecho Inc, a design and construction management firm. The company seems very cool; the design and execution of the cafe/restaurant is very nicely done. One of the Hecho offices is connected to Building on Bond, which is kind of cool because its sort of a portolio of their work right next door to their offices. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me, so here's a photo from the Brownstoner:
